Case studies
A government platform, a nationwide education module and a B2B business-management suite. Every time: framing, field research, design system, then measurement.
Designing the foundation of a public-service platform used by students, teachers and school psychologists: information architecture, a DSFR-based design system and accessibility compliance with no shortcuts.
Helping upper-secondary students build their guidance path rather than merely browse information, and giving form teachers a class view that finally replaces the parallel spreadsheet.
Rebuilding a data-saturated software ecosystem for expert users, and keeping it coherent over time with a multi-platform design system consumed by several teams.
Approach
The products I work on come with hard constraints: regulation, captive audiences, dense data, multiple teams. Here is how I work.
I start with the problem, not the screen. Leading discovery with Product Owners, running framing workshops with stakeholders, and aligning business objectives with what actually happens in the field.
Semi-structured interviews and contextual inquiry to understand; stratified surveys and support-ticket analysis to size the problem. Qualitative explains, quantitative arbitrates.
Tokens aligned with front-end variables, component libraries, documented patterns. DSFR for government, Material and Ant Design in B2B. RGAA / WCAG accessibility is built into the foundations, not bolted on afterwards.
SUS scores, completion rates, task time, accessibility audits. A design that cannot be measured cannot be defended — neither to a steering committee nor to an engineering team.
I use LLMs where they save time without diluting the decision: coding and clustering user verbatims, generating realistic datasets and edge cases inside mockups, assisting component documentation and the Figma ↔ repository token mapping. Design judgement stays human.
